“Everyone should take Gael’s tour even if you have visited the area before. Fabulous time. She goes above and beyond to include pulling out her tripod and binoculars so that you can see the birds and animals in the water. She quotes famous writers that lived and worked in the area as if she walked with them through the areas she shows you on tour. She knows the land and water features associated with Carmel and is able to explain the history and show you things no one else will show you. She may be a writer, scientist, marine biologist, historian, storyteller… she knows it all and will show you everything from Fairy Tale cottages to butterfly houses to beautiful blue beach water. Thank you for accommodating me on my first visit and making it so memorable. Don’t leave the area without taking her walk!”
